TealSquare Launches Consciousnx, an On-Prem AI Platform That Keeps Data Off the Cloud

TealSquare Technologies has launched Consciousnx, an AI platform that processes everything locally, on a user’s own computer or a company’s own servers, rather than sending prompts and files to a cloud provider. The company’s claim is blunt. No conversation or sensitive data leaves your environment, because the architecture is designed to ensure that.

That design answers a problem that has grown fast. Employees are feeding sensitive material into AI tools, often without anyone noticing. LayerX’s 2025 enterprise data report found that 77% of employees paste data into generative AI tools, and 82% of that activity runs through personal accounts no IT team is watching. The information leaves the building the moment someone hits paste.

The cost of that leakage is measurable. IBM’s 2025 Cost of a Data Breach report found that one in five organizations suffered a breach tied to “shadow AI,” the unsanctioned tools employees use without oversight, and those incidents added roughly $670,000 to the average breach. Among organizations that reported an AI-related breach, 97% had no proper access controls in place.

Consciousnx comes in two offerings.

For individuals, it is a desktop application for Mac and Windows. There is a free trial, and the paid plan runs $8 a month. The app reads and analyzes PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, and text files in memory, works as a writing assistant, and runs on a selectable library of open-source models. The company says it keeps telemetry to a minimum and does no background data collection.

For enterprise, Consciousnx deploys inside the organization’s own infrastructure: on-premise servers, a private cloud tenant, or a fully air-gapped environment. Models run behind the company’s firewall. Enterprises build knowledge bases on their own proprietary data without that data leaving the network. Each deployment comes with a dedicated implementation engineer who works with the customer’s team from assessment through go-live. Pricing is scoped to the deployment rather than charged per prompt or per user, so once it is installed, teams use it without a meter running.

“AI adoption is no longer only about experimentation. It is about real outcomes without giving up control of your data,” a TealSquare spokesperson said. “Consciousnx was built so organizations can put AI to work inside their own walls, on their own terms.”

The platform is aimed at people and organizations that handle confidential material as a matter of routine. Law firms. Hospitals. Financial services. Founders sitting on intellectual property. The common thread is simple. The work is sensitive, and handing it to someone else’s servers was never really an option.

TealSquare draws a line between architecture and policy. A privacy policy is a promise. An architecture that never transmits data, the company argues, is a fact a customer can check for themselves.

Whether buyers accept that argument at scale is the open question. Plenty of vendors promise privacy. Few stake the entire product on never touching the cloud.
