His amazing performance reached its zenith when he created a cricketing masterpiece by taking an astounding 6 for 21 against Sri Lanka in the championship match. India demolished Sri Lanka by a resounding 10 wickets while under the enchantment of Siraj, winning the Asia Cup for an unprecedented seventh time.

With the new ball, Siraj, a persistent force, launched a devastating attack, shredding the Sri Lankan top order with skill. Notably, he became the first Indian bowler to ever take four wickets in a single over on an international platform, cementing his place in Indian cricket history.

This outstanding accomplishment propels Siraj back to the top of the ODI bowling rankings, a position he previously held in January of this year before being briefly supplanted by the powerful Josh Hazlewood in March. He is once again recognized as the best ODI bowler in the world.

The South African spinner Keshav Maharaj, meantime, has engineered a magnificent comeback, moving up to the 15th slot in the rankings—a startling 10 spots higher than his previous career-best position. The exciting 3-2 ODI series triumph over Australia for South Africa was greatly influenced by Maharaj’s spectacular efforts. By taking eight significant wickets throughout the series, including a match-changing four-wicket haul in the fifth and final ODI, he enthralled cricket fans.

Mujeeb-ur Rahman and Rashid Khan, a spin bowling team from Afghanistan, advanced significantly in the bowling rankings, taking fourth and fifth place, respectively, further solidifying their standing as spin masters on the world stage.

Turning to batting, Heinrich Klaasen of South Africa and Dawid Malan of England have both risen significantly in the rankings as a result of strong performances against Australia and New Zealand, respectively. With a brilliant 174-run effort against Australia in the fifth ODI at Centurion, Klaasen cemented his place in cricket history and entered the top 10 for the first time in his career.

Malan, on the other hand, has reached the height of his batting skill and has earned a career-best rating of 13. In the three games he played in during the three-match series against New Zealand, he accomplished this by scoring an amazing total of 277 runs.

Ben Stokes, the unflappable English all-rounder, is also on the rise, moving up 13 spots in the rankings to take up residence at number 36. By scoring England’s highest-ever ODI score of 182 at The Oval, Stokes cemented his place in history and wowed cricket fans all across the world.
