Beginning on September 25, Bhubaneswar will host the IDCA T-20 National Cricket Championship for Deaf

<p>Before reaching the final, which will be held on October 1 at East Coast Railway Sports Association Stadium, teams grouped into four groups will play a total of 42 matches against one another.</p>
<p>The matches will be held on four separate venues in Bhubaneswar and will be hosted by the Odisha Deaf Cricket Association. In Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the championship game will be contested.</p>
<p>The winner will earn Rs. 1,000,000, while the runner-up will receive Rs. 50,000. The top sportspeople will each win Rs 5,000 in categories including batting, bowling, fielding, super sixes, and others. The winning players would get Rs 2,100.</p>
<p>Sumit Jain, President of IDCA, commented on the impending competition by saying: “We hope that awareness continues to rise with more young people with disabilities choosing athletics as a career choice. Sports are a strong form of self-expression that are not only about physical ability and talent. Together, we can keep constructing a world where everyone has the chance to succeed.</p>
<p>We are anticipating the next hearing-impaired cricket competition in Odisha and wish all of the participating teams well and success, the speaker said.</p>
<p>“We are thrilled to be in Bhubaneswar with a huge presence of 19 teams for the first time, to play 43 matches across four grounds,” stated Roma Balwani, CEO of IDCA. We are thrilled to have our hearing-impaired teams here to compete against one another in the real spirit of sport. These athletes are seeking appropriate recognition and are encouraged by the progress IDCA has made in raising awareness of deaf cricket in India.</p>
<p>The winning squad and players will be honored for their outstanding performance at the closing ceremony on October 1.</p>
