Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, criticised the previous administrations for underfunding Mathura's development and claimed that when the projects worth Rs 32,000 crore were finished, they would restore the city's grandeur and divinity to its pre-'Dwapar era' levels.
“Since independence, during the tenure of various governments, the corrupt and impoverished system had halted Mathura's development,” the Chief Minister said while addressing the crowd at an electoral rally for the impending municipal elections.
The CM said that during the Global Investors Summit, investment offers worth Rs 35 lakh crore were received in UP, and he claimed that these projects will result in the employment of 50,000 youngsters in the Braj area alone. Voting for the BJP candidate will help create a triple-engine government, he pleaded with voters.
“It is my good fortune that the Mathura Vrindavan Municipal Corporation was established by our government in 2017,” the chief minister stated. The Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad was established in order to move the action plan for this location's overall development ahead.
The CM said that Banke Bihari's Dham would be developed in a same manner as Kashi and added: “It is our duty to restore the splendour of Barsana, Gokul, and Govardhan. From this perspective, the next local election is significant.
The CM attacked the previous administration, claiming that “before 2017, members of a specific party would go about with 'tamanchas' in their hands. The young people of today have tablets in their hands.
