He said that we shouldn't create the sequel only for its own sake. Sunny expressed his confidence in the movie's potential for success. Everyone I encounter wants to see something, and Gadar Ek Prem Katha provides that, said Sunny.
Arvind Mathur was last portrayed by Sunny Deol in the R Balki-directed 2022 film Chup. This film, which was supported by Hope Productions, focused on the life of a serial murderer who preys on movie reviewers. Mixed to positive reviews ranged for the movie. Chup included performances by Sunny, Dulquer Salmaan, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Pooja Bhatt, and other actors.
